Our Mission
Shop-BOB Cares is a NY State 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting extraordinary individuals who are helping to make an impact in their local communities. Shop-BOB Cares helps to fund their mission FORWARD by connecting them with our network of businesses allowing them to focus on their mission. Our programs highlight Business Development, Youth Activities, and Youth Employment.
Youth Positivity Outreach Program
Empower teens & young adults (14-24) with Y.P.O.P.! We offer tools and support for resilience, positive relationships, and choices. Our passionate team believes in every young person's potential to positively impact their community and achieve their goals. Let's inspire success together!
Y.P.O.P. x FUNBASH
Join us alongside FUNBASH! Through our collaboration with this BIPOC owned mobile gaming service we organize on-site events in underserved areas. We aim to establish safe environments that boost morale and foster constructive community involvement. These events also hire youth ages 14 and up to facilitate games and learn leadership skills. Together we have served over 5,000 families throughout the NYC Tri-State Area.
Y.P.O.P. x MUSIC UNBOXED
We have partnered up with Music Unboxed, a Latin-founded organization with a commitment to enriching musical culture through the creation of concerts, student workshops, and events. Our primary objective is to foster unity among the community through the power of live music events. In the Fall of 2023, with our program in Staten Island, we introduced Intro to Percussion in a FREE program for youth ages 8 - 13. View their amazing percussion skills in our video recap below!
Y.P.O.P. YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
Our Youth Positivity Outreach Program (Y.P.O.P.) collaborates with local communities and organizations for youths ages 14+. Through our program, we mentor and teach them digital marketing and design skills to support small local businesses. Within our 1st year of launching this program back in 2022, we have successfully employed more than 70+ youths! Get involved to help us reach our goal of 100 by 2025!
