Cour was born out of a need for all women, regardless of body type, to feel beautiful and sexy in their own skin. Ever since she was a child, Courtney has struggled to find her own balance between her strength and femininity. Growing up as an athlete, in a tall and curvaceous body, it was always a challenge to fit into traditional beauty standards. As an adult, Courtney wanted to tap into her sexy, and began using jewelry as a medium to feel more feminine. As time passed and she grew in self love, Courtney started to understand that femininity is about much more than being small and delicate; being a woman is a vibe, not a body type. When Courtney first started designing, everything was small, such as dainty bracelets or a set of stackable rings.  Today, the Cour design aesthetic reflects more of Courtney’s personality; a combination of bold 90’s hip hop, ultra feminine accents, and a nod to spirituality. Customers will find signature statement pieces, along with everyday items that can transition with them throughout the day. Cour pieces are intended to complement their personal style and become favorites they hold onto for many years to come.
